Hi all mini owners,
ive always had a place in my heart for minis, so after a year of owning novas, i had a deal and a half crop up. My current car was on the way out so as u can imagine i was delighted. I went to see the mini and it was paul smith LE. Because of the current condition... a few scratches which im still 2 get sorted (sum idiot has wrote c**t on the passenger door), a few bits of rust and a cpl of small dents i managed to get the mini for 800 fine british pounds inc a fresh mot. Since buying the car a month ago i have fallen in love with it, I clean and polish the mini every week and am gradually gettin it back to its former glory. I don't think it had been well looked after in the past, which is a bit sad really as its a lovely car which deserves attention! watch this sapce.. after just a month its lookin a lot better... cept the dents in the grill where some pleb didnt fasten dwn the spotlamps (not me!) and the metro bonnet vents, which will be removed soon and stripes in either black or white will be going on instead. my photos wont upload coz apparently they r 2 large but wil get more up soon! appreciate ne modifying advice!

oh and the stupidly big rear light is now gone... but left a dent and a rusty bracket which i cant get out!

1. Its a Paul Smith dont modify it too much.
2. Upload the photos to Photobucket and link them here, its easier.
3. Essex meets are the 2nd friday in every month, we expect to see you there.
4. If you need any help with repairs I'm sure the cambs crew will be able to assist you for a modest fee or a pizza icon_lol.gif Theyre not far up the M11 from you

They move around the county each month, normally 7pm to 11pm ish, Cambs meets are good ones and they are on varying sunday lunchtimes, might be easier for you, they have more classics as well.

Hi Laie_22.gif well done on getting a lovely mini for a bargin price, and welcome to the club.
Burt
what a bargin! if you have to put stripes why not go for the same lime green used on the petrol tank/glove box etc?
Streeters
I like that Idea Burt, that or black really, white would be putting too many colours into the mix.

Sam You jammy git for getting that for £800 - even i'd have bought it at that price and i've got nowhere to keep it icon_biggrin.gif
BINT
what a bargain, nice one 023.gif welcome to the club sam icon_hug.gif

thts not a bad idea actually... im liking tht! 1 of my mates has a program on his computer which i can play about with designs etc so may see how it looks but i definatly agree tht white would be mixing 2 many colours up, (minus my green boot panel atm, ne 1 know ne where) wanna keep it simple really but eye catching. Thanks for the advice!
