Hi Jessie! That is exactly the reason I joined ECMC! I own a Classic Mini right now but am buying a 2010 Mini Cooper S. I wanted to be a part of a club but nearly all the ones I came across didn't look kindly when it came to the MINI. ECMC was just the ticket! A great bunch too! I can't wait to take my new MINI to a show with the rest of the club! Won't you join us?! We'd love to have ya! Welcome to the forum too!

oh yea im deffo gonna come along! i wento to the french car show with my bf this weekend and it really made me wanna ba part of a group that loves there mini as much as i do! i cnt seem to add my pictures i think the files are to big! im sure ill figure something out soon!

Hello Lovely MINI you have there!

thank you! she is actualy a bit poorly she had to go to the shop today! had new alarm sencers and has to have a new engine mount on monday! and a some form of belt! good job its stilll under warinty! any body else ever had problems with there alarm? x

My son has problems with his alarm, it often goes off, but the dealers say it hasn't stored any record of it going off more than a couple of times, so they don't really believe him and haven't done anything. Even eveyone on here can probably say they've heard it go off, at a meet at Snetterton it was going off all the time.

ah well get him to take it back again beacuse they have just fixed mine and fingers crossed i havnt heard it go off again yet! lol

i had trouble with my alarm but that was due to the boot sensor being faulty so it would come on as and when it fancied it, they replaced the sensor and it hasnt played up since, (she says touching wood)

I'm pretty new too,everyone here seems really enthusiastic and friendly. Hope to get along to a meet soon.

Jessie, the next one will probably be early July. As one of those that waits patiently for one of the admin to post the date and venue I too am waiting to hear the details. The last three that I've atteneded have been great evenings with about 12 to 14 of us at each. Whenever and wherever it is you'll be sure of a cracking evening of socializing in great company.
