What an amazing day. As usual the turn out and sheer genorosity of the Mini community overwhelms me. An amazing amount of money raised with the little push at the end, and I hope Shaun did well too.
I must say a massive thank you to Mark F, Mark S, Wendy and of course our dearly missed friend Chris Toms for the fantastic route. Some of the scenery and roads were breathtaking. Thank you to all who donated prizes for the raffle, bought raffle tickets. Phil @ Mini Pirate for doing the stickers and all who generally donated money on the day to such a worthy cause. -------------------- |

It was an incredible run today, managed to get lost at the first roundabout near the showground then us and 3 others floored it to try and catch up. Inevitably we missed other turnings. Cant believe how fast jez went down those backroads. Just like to say it was one of the best drives i have ever been on.
oh and we broke down in ingham (overheated) and no, no idea how we got there... think that jez wins the rustiest mini award |

Great day and the weather held out in the end too
Nice little run with plenty to see and take in... Even if only briefly Cracking job guys and I'm glad you did so well with the fund raising for your chosen charity. We had a great day for Clic Sargent and we have raised the total to just over £150 so far! Thanks for the help Streeters with making people aware of what we were doing on the day Sad that the run cannot be enjoyed by Phoenix too but I'm sure he had a good giggle at us all mucking it up and getting lost lol Thanks Guys -------------------- Does anyone ever read these?

I thoroughly enjoyed today and Im very that happy that my run notes and sat nav files work for 98% of it.
It was good that we managed to stay together for most of it and arrived at the stops virtually all at the same time. Thanks to Jeremy for risking his life and his GP to help get us all out of the rest stop in one go. Im glad everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to seeing you all next year -------------------- |
